I'm already sneaking into the break room to watch Euro 2008, totally messing up the afternoon soaps for the ladies in the office. I'm sure they'll LOVE it when I'm hogging the TV for a bike race Last year I actually logged all the action in my training log as it happened so no one missed out... it was fun actually... but probably a little obsessive Dedicated! |

Thats ok Beth - we can all help you get obsessed about it Actually I found a lot of people got into it with the challenge because i assigned teams according to actual teams and provided some rider information etc What this meant was people who didnt know about the Tour all of a sudden had a team and riders to support/watch based on their team in the challenge... it was really exciting watching people get into the sport through that! |

Careful, you might get really into it Stuff like laughing out loud and taunting the TV when Moreau got dropped from the main peleton because of hard crosswind. Or jumping on your couch screaming "GO LEVI GO!!" in the last TT. Not that I did anything like that (in public). Edited by sesh 2008-06-19 10:37 PM |

Last year's TdF was just AWESOME! So glad Levi got a podium. I don't think I've ever posted this on BT before, but it's from 1997 at an Omnium they used to have here in Jackson, MS. The cool part is at the very end when the road race winner is coming in. Right about 3:30 in the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsfVdBfzLHE

Hey, at least those two will be off the payroll soon Heck, my parents were just happy when I went to college because I was finally out of the house. I mean come on, I could have used a little sadness or something, but no, I think they threw a party when they got home. |
