I have to confess, I am a total novice about the Tour deFrance - I watched a bit of it last year, but I honestly have no idea about how it all works - I will watch and learn!

Actually I found a lot of people got into it with the challenge because i assigned teams according to actual teams and provided some rider information etc

What this meant was people who didnt know about the Tour all of a sudden had a team and riders to support/watch based on their team in the challenge... it was really exciting watching people get into the sport through that!

Careful, you might get really into it  Stuff like laughing out loud and taunting the TV when Moreau got dropped from the main peleton because of hard crosswind.  Or jumping on your couch screaming "GO LEVI GO!!" in the last TT.

Not that I did anything like that (in public).

Im glad you see it that way because it takes over my life... an Im incapable of talkingabout anything else for 3 weeks

In fact I have 8 hours of highlights from last years tour to start watching in the lead up...

So cool!  Last year's TdF was just AWESOME!  So glad Levi got a podium.

I don't think I've ever posted this on BT before, but it's from 1997 at an Omnium they used to have here in Jackson, MS.  The cool part is at the very end when the road race winner is coming in.  Right about 3:30 in the video:

Cancellara was AMAZING the first week.  It was so cool that he fought for the yellow as long as he did.

Bowling is excellent, and a 159 is really good!

Of course, when I bowl, it's usually just entertainment to go along with pitchers of beer.

Do they do that glow bowl stuff?  We had a fundraiser bowling thing, and my boss actually got sick when they flipped on the strobes and black lights and played that awful music.  I'm not much of a fan either.  Gives me a huge head ache.

tell me about it - how is it that I will have 2 kids in college this fall?  I cannot possibly be that old!

Hey, at least those two will be off the payroll soon  Heck, my parents were just happy when I went to college because I was finally out of the house.  I mean come on, I could have used a little sadness or something, but no, I think they threw a party when they got home.

thats awesome - he seems like such a nice guy! (sooo much better than contador who I cant stand)

Kids these days!  haha!  Cosmic bowling is the single most annoying thing I have ever done. 

Lol i have actually st up bowling bars here... which are actual 'night cls' with disco bowling and a bar... weird but kind of fun as a once off...
