It was beautiful, and thanks to people like Cat, I can honestly say the challenges (and the people who participate in them) have really made BT a special place. Soooo... Congrats, Super Cat! And thanks for putting so eloquently what many of us feel makes this place great. I blame Beth and Dee. waidaminute - what exactly am I being blamed for? |

The most prestigious cycling event in the world, the Tour de France, is back for its 18th year on SBS and to celebrate the three week long race (no we are not making you race bikes in the Atrium again) staff are asked to get into the spirit of le Tour and dress in your favourite cycling gear on Friday 11 July. If you're not partial to lycra and don't own a pair of bike shorts or a cycling jersey but want to join in, then dress in black and gold, the colours of the Tour, instead. On Friday morning, a panel of judges including {names removed} will make their way around the building to invite the best dressed staff, who have embraced the festivities, to participate in the "fashion on the bike" parade at 3:00pm in the Atrium. The best dressed female and male in the "fashion on the bike" parade, chosen by our very own stylist, {removed}, will each win a bottle of French Champagne. |

It's time to get a TT skin suit with an aero helmet. Or dress like the crazy spectator from last year that was wearing those huge antlers. Pics are going to be required for whatever you do, and a trans-global toasting since I'm not above raising a glass late in the evening. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Nibbs XX Spokes - 2008-07-08 8:16 PM Its a huge dilemma because there are not enough words to describe how much I hate the Southeastern United States as a place to live. I'd either be stuck in ATL - a city I can't stand - or a backwater like Charleston or Jacksonville. Bugs, humidity, religious conservatives. None of this a good combination for a free spirit/free thinker. Plus, there's nothing to stop their mother, for example, from getting married to her BF and moving to CT.
May I remind you that I currently live in the Southeastern United States? (And yes, I know what you mean. I so need to move someplace other than where I live right now.................) Hm, and I guess that's true about their mother. She could pack up and move. |

No. I recorded it this morning and watched it when I got home. Im doing my very best not to say anything outside of the TF forum to give away anything.. its hard when thats my life at the moment.... x2. I keep catching myself about to say something. Fortunately, I've been able to stop in time - and then I head to the TdF forum instead. |
