#12. Very much would have preferred to grab lunch and sit around reading a book. Stupid streak.

1 hour ride/4 mile run brick. Ran in heat of afternoon, close to 90F. 2 more weeks or so of toughing it out in the heat and I should be acclimated. I can acclimate to a cold pool in about a minute, but running in the heat takes roughly two weeks. Not fair.

54. 15.5 miles on the bike, 2 miles on the run. Humidity was murder...but I'm noticing that my "easy" pace is getting faster.

#30 - 20 minutes. I finished up the commitment with the bare minimum because I have my first OLY tri on Sunday and I am trying to take it easy on my legs.

I'm glad I did it, but I won't be continuing the streak... I learned that running isn't so bad, and I think I improved my form quite a bit. I am choosing not to continue because I have minimal amount of time to train, and this was taking away from my sleep or my other training. I only get 5 hours of sleep a day as it is, so I was constantly drained of energy.

Thanks for starting this challenge though, it was a really good thing for me. I am beyond impressed with those of you who have done this for many months. You guys are an inspiration!

Day 55. 13.6 miles on the bike, and then a run where the skies opened up on me about .5 miles in. Finished 2 at a pretty good pace, but didn't want to go too much farther. Contemplating a last second signup for a tri this Sat morning, but that is *completely* weather dependent right now.

91 miles. With some of your recent totals, I almost believe that this is not a typo.

#221

2.something miles. I had to run around with my kids outside today (age 4 and 6) just to keep the streak alive. I run in a .17 mile loop to keep them in sight. I got dizzy, oh, and I must have eaten my weight in bugs. I swear I am going to wrap myself in mosquito netting if I have to do that again.

Yes it was a typo it was suppose to be 9.1 miles. I'll be running hopefully more than 91 miles, 100 to be exact in August when I run the Beast Of Burden 100 miler in Lockport, NY.

Another hot and one today, 6.1 miles which give me 373.5 miles for the month, about 4 miles short of new high for a month. I will top 400 miles probably next month.

I didn't get my run done yesterday. Was going to do it last night and then had an all night family emergency. Missed my race this morning too. I hope to get back on the train soon.

2 on Friday evening for #56,
First sprint tri of the year this morning for #57. Took 3rd in my AG. Feel a little undeserving, though. By USAT rules, I should have been in the next age group up, where I would've taken 4th or 5th. But this race classified AGs by race day age, which was good enough to get me a third place finish. It's my first ever AG podium, so I'm a little subdued by the fact I don't think I really earned it.

Sorry to hear about the family emergency...I hope all is well. Thoughts will be with your family.

Maybe if you double up today and/or tomorrow, Left Brain will authorize a special circumstance to keep you going.

Congrats on the podium, I would not feel undeserving though, it was the race directors rules and you did nothing to break them. Great job.
