Extreme Veteran 461 Minnesota | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! spokes - 2007-11-08 1:38 PM I am SO doing this next year:
No, I'm not doing the sequel to XXX, but a long-course duathlon in Auburn, California - just a few miles from Sacramento... that has 6000' of climbing in the bike and the run is at the bottom of the American River Canyon that the Corvette above went BOOM real good in XXX. That bridge they drove that off of is the highest bridge in California. Description of run course by a guy at my tri-club last night "Its a b!tch." Run 3k, ride 56 miles, run a half-marathon. The canyon is only 1500' feet up so oxy won't be a problem, but I'm thinking of not racing during February so I can drive up there and practice riding in the canyon. That Duathlon sounds really cool, I would like to do something like that. I haven't seen anything in my area that has such a long bike and second run. Edited by wemoon 2007-11-08 4:26 PM |

But if she could get me a free or cheap bianchi I wouldnt say no Even if it meant (temporarily) batting for the other team? Oh, and Cat - if she just called me, said she was totally in love with me, I'd beat the flucking plane to Vegas flapping my arms. Seriously. LOL I think she is incredibly hot and cute and I'd do her until my body parts started falling off, OK? Well you know I LOVE bikes!!!! Her... not so much... Someone kick me out I really need to leave! I need to get one of those. I always run with a ball cap but my hat will be soaking wet on my head before I'm finished. One of those would be better. I have a running hat from Under Armor... it is pretty awesome as far as not soaking like a ball cap would be and keeping my head cool. |
