givemashot - 2010-07-19 12:29 PM So how's med school, Melindy?

Still have another 6 weeks before school starts again. Just in the lab doing research right now. Booo data analysis right now. I start on Aug 31 or something lame like that--GI, Repro, MSK, Neuro, Psych and Oncology next year.

MSK?

Male Seduction Klass

Taught by Prof. Nekkid

Assists provided by NJKim, Robin and Amy.  The Princess is going to need to attend class and pay attention.  She seems to be a little behind in this area.  Not to worry, we will have her at the top of the class by semester's end.

Now THAT would be some toppage!!

I am refraining from saying what I really want to say about toppage!!!

Refrains are for music. We're all friends here! Do tell

I'm trying to figure out what she could have really wanted to say...

Probably just set myself up again by saying this though...(**just can't stop myself**)

I was just going to say that maybe you don't prefer toppage. Maybe you prefer bottomage, or pinnedupagainstawallage, or countlessotherpossibilitiesage.

Remember what I said about my imagination...ya not helping...Wink

Making it all the harder to go back to crunching numbers...

Just sayin.

Um... I'm thinking pictures would NOT be appropriate in this situation.

You are probably right...I'm fairly certain pictures are unnecessary though?

Just sayin.

(Well...except for some unmentioned person who has already has admitted that his imagination was destroyed in college...poor, poor guy...) *snicker

I seriously doubt he lost those *brain* cells.

Haha...was going to comment something...then I realized what you meant...duh...

I'm just not on my game today. I'm glad I figured it out...I would have looked kinda stupid...but I guess I could have played that into my innocence ploy...darn...

Gets my vote.  And I think the experiment could be set up so that the math is minimal (she doesn't like math).  I, however, like math and could help her design it so that it would require a very high n (number of observations/participations) to achieve statistical significance. Practice makes perfect.

No more numbers...!!! AHhh...

We should probably run a pilot first.

Then, if the pilot works...we can continue the study...

(I kind of feel disturbed that we are speaking in science code...not a lot...just a little disturbed...haha)

In a completely different vein (and to give Melindy a break for a bit) I just emptied my dishwasher from this weekend's festivities.  Mind you, I ate out Friday night.  All other meals were consumed at home. There was one plate, one bowl, a handful of various silverware, 1 wineglass, 1 coffee cup and 9 water bottles.  (ok 4 were the small ones for the fuel belt).  Hmmmmm.

So here are the lessions I learned today:

1) I have no capacity to play with the big boys (you all are the big boys)...

2) Do not use the words: "easy", "disturbed", "bones", nothing good can come out of these words...

3) Check to make sure you have 1000 cells in your statistics program before you do 5/6 sets of data and then realise you only have 246 cells...failllll...and then have to go back and restart.

I'm sure there are others...

Haha.

Ok...well I am watching the final half hour of Millionaire Matchmaker...maybe we could make this show apart of my new MSK class? Then I'm heading to bed...getting up at 3:30am to watch the Tour tomorrow...If you are currently watching/watch it...you know why...

GO ANDY GO!!!!!

(I also learned today that my brother is ridiculous and has this really, really annoying skill of getting to me...Tour related...and I really, really want to win against him tomorrow...I feel though that I am out of my league even against my brother!!!!!!!!!)

Bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning - am I?

NOT!

But going to make an attempt to go to work today.  Might be a short day, but hey, can't let them all think they can keep running the branch without their fearless leader.  LOL

Sounds like a good subject for a medical student to use for a research paper...

(I  feel disturbed that we are speaking in science code...not a lot...just a little disturbed...haha)

Talk about speaking in code...

Ya...pretty much anything I say backs me into a corner, doesn't it?

(PS...he doesn't have a monopoly on the word "disturbed"...just sayin. Tongue out I had to defend myself with something...I walked into that one...I'm going to come up with a list of things that I am not allowed to say...)

You're hanging with some tough AG'ers.  That which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

I thought it was... That which doesn't kill you only postpones the inevitable. Either way, Kim's right.

Subject: RE: Run your azz off in July Ghoulies!!!
I ran hills this morning. I felt really good. I pushed it hard up the first and fourth hills. The second hill I'm running in town and the sidewalk is very uneven so there I just try to keep moving and not do a face plant. The third hill is long long long long long. I used that hill to practice pacing myself and keeping my breathing under control.  I was very happy to make it to the top so I could relax on the back side of it.

I'm not sure if it's the running or all the yoga I've been doing, but I had NO PAIN in my hamstring when I ran the hills this morning. That's a first since I started the marathon training. WOOHOO!!!

I did have KT tape on my hamstring, but the important thing is pain free running!
