I'm going to make a horrible doctor...staring down patients in brooding silence because I am tired like I am staring down Alberto right now is unfortunately not an option...  ...haha...I don't really think coffee helps me out that much either....It just makes me tired and jittery...haha..bad combo Caffeine has the same affect on me. Apparently we are doing a tri together in Banff in Sept. He's doing the sprint...hes not exceptionally excited with only getting to do a 13km ride and 5km run, but I convinced him that drowning in a lake was probably a bad decision because he can handle a 500m swim and not a 1500m swim. I think he registered last night. Well he sent me a text about it anyways. Yeah... drowning would really be a downer. Haha. |

The second hill I'm running in town and the sidewalk is very uneven so there I just try to keep moving and not do a face plant. The third hill is long long long long long. I used that hill to practice pacing myself and keeping my breathing under control. I was very happy to make it to the top so I could relax on the back side of it. I'm not sure if it's the running or all the yoga I've been doing, but I had NO PAIN in my hamstring when I ran the hills this morning. That's a first since I started the marathon training. WOOHOO!!! I did have KT tape on my hamstring, but the important thing is pain free running! Yeah to pain free running. |

My contracts here have always been 3 and 6 months, which makes me nervous, but I was part of another contract, they just added me on. Well now they have created a new position with it's own contract, a 5 year one at that. My company called me last week to tell me about this, and to tell me that they couldn't bid the contract. They said another company was that they are partnered with, and they would be subbing me to the other company. They told me nothing would change on my end, I'd still work for them. There was a vm last week at the house from someone from a company that I can't remember the name of and she asked me to call her about my new job. I just got in touch with her today. My company lost the contract, this company won it. They do not do they sub thing, I work for them now. She wants me to come in and do the new hire paperwork. I told her what my company told me and she said that's not how they do business but she would get in contact with them and straighten it out and get back to me. She asked me about signing up for benefits. My old company didn't give me benefits. I'm hoping I get paid time off again. As long as I keep getting a paycheck I really don't care who signs it. I'm still looking for a way out of here. |
