I knew you gals wouldn't let me down, although I decided to go with the wine (mmm, a late-harvest reisling, so it's sweet & winey at the same time).

I'd love to come play more often, but you are soooo fast. I BT the same way I tri, slow & steady.

Well, ladies (since no gents seem to be around), I am reluctantly signing off for the night.  There is a great show on NGC about the Hubble telescope (HUGE "N", for "nerd" on the forehead... as if today's clothed photo left any doubt, LOL).

THat is one challenge I can guarantee I will NOT be doing.

You know, there are tons of people that love basketball, football, tennis, golf, etc. play the sports, and are terrible at them and people accept that they are. But if you say on a triathlon site that "I am a bad swimmer" rather than ACCEPT that fact, people keep telling you "oh, you just need to work harder."

I worked my butt in Algebra II and still flunked it. I can't dunk a basketball, no matter how much I work on my vertical jump. I mean, people have different gifts in life and why is it so hard to accept that? I mean, I don't like the fact that I cannot swim well and never will be able to, but I'm also smarter than a hell of a lot of people. So it balances out.

I'm not a good swimmer. I don't like admitting or accepting that I'm bad at something and I can't do anything about it. Its depressing.
