Did anyone else get PM spam this morning?

I got a message from poor Miss Sussy Owen in South Africa blah blah blah help her transfer her family fortune and all. I told her I'd be glad to do it but I'm going to need a larger cut than the 15% she offered to fund a trip out west for a small village of my own.

Send it on to Ron & Marma so they can block that person if you have not done so already.

I sent it to Marma right after I got it. I'd like to think that people don't actually fall for these things, but sadly I know better.

Hi Stacie

hi ANN.

heading out in a few.

just making plans for the next couple days w the boys home and DH being off on Friday.

i didnt know there were TWO IMAX theaters that are showing A Christmas Carole here in the area.  so that's good.  were sure to get tickets.  i was worried it would sell out the day after Thanksgiving.

course most people shop the day after Thanksgiving, i dont DARE go near stores on that day.

i hate to shop even on a 'good' day going out in the crowds NOT my idea of a good time.

then.  theres a holiday parade downtown, but then theres one in a little town just north of us.

the put on the CHEESIEST 4th of July parade, but we LOVE IT.....so main street America - complete w an 80 year old woman who twirls batons and does splits on the center line of main street.  AWESOME!

we usually go downtown w the masses for the holiday parade, but i think were gonna opt for CHEESY AND QUAINT this year.

save the hassel driving downtown/parking, crowds, et al!

maybe the lady will twirl batons dressed like Mrs. Claus.

whadya think???

A guy I work with gets them sent to his home address.  He brought the letter and picture in one day - too funny.

Ann after you send them your payment could you forward me equal value just because my name is Bill? Innocent

She said she was sending me an amount equal to 3.5 million US dollars. I can keep 15%, which is roughly 525,000. I'm thinking I could keep the 3 million and she can have the .5 million. If I do that then everyone is getting a new bike for Christmas and I'll fly everyone to Utah so we can go on a ride together.

Of course I'll send you some Bill, maybe I'll even hand deliver it.

I can't remember the name of the word for it, but you basically marinate your turkey in a broth mixture for a few days to help cook it to juicyness perfection?

Do you do that? or do you just throw it in the oven and hope for the best?

My sister watches a lot of cooking shows. Last year when we had Thanksgiving at my house, and she came up to help cook I had to put it in some concoction a few days in advance. She also then stuffed the turkey with cinammon sticks, an apple, some other stuff, to give it flavor.

I'm old school, I just put it in the roaster, rub some butter on it (because I love crispy turkey skin) sprinkle some seasonings on and toss it in the oven.

wgraves7582 - 2009-11-24 9:09 AM Ann - that turkey recipe sounds awesome - can you forward me the details because we cook 1 and the m-i-l cooks another one (30+ people so we need a lot of turkey).

Stacie - Only 3 people like pumpkin pie at the gathering (me, my father, and my niece but she is pregnant so she might not like it) so I get basically a whole pie to myself - yummy!

No problem. I'll look through my emails quick and send it to you ASAP!
