We should really consider keeping in touch with one another if you know what I mean... I don't think Kendra was serious in the first post on this thread when she said "no mad posting" or were you secretly referring to the fact that the twisted blisters have a higher post count? LOLOL! JK!!! It's all about the post count, and the stars! Edited by D001 2008-01-11 8:29 PM |

Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II D001 - 2008-01-12 11:10 AM OK Fish. It was a tough week for me -- but I'm on track to reach my swim goal again. If not for the challenge, I probably would have taken today off. I was feeling dizzy, which means I may be coming down with a sinus infection.... But I swam anyway, because I was starting to fall behind where I need to be.... And, I equaled a PB! Yes, the pool was spinning, but I equaled a PB. Go figure. LOL Came home, took a decongestant, and got online. I feel better now. Was it the decongestant... or being on BT? I'll let you decide.... LOL Take care Dee - I hope you are feeling better now... Do you think it was low blood sugar? I know youve been busy at work.... |

Do you think it was low blood sugar? I know youve been busy at work.... No, my blood sugar is fine. It's the remnants of the cold that I'm getting over. It's probably in the sinuses right now. I used to get vertigo a lot because my eustachian tubes would get blocked whenever I had a sinus issue. I haven't had it in awhile (fortunately). And this was no where near as severe as that. (It was dizziness, not vertigo. Vertigo is horrible.) The only other option is hormonal, but I don't believe that was the problem. (High estrogen levels - in me at least - can cause double vision and dizziness. However, my vision was fine, and my hormone levels have not been elevated.) Anyway, after I got home, I took some decongestants and felt better afterwards. (Which also tells me it's an eustachian tube issue.) |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II I got a great swim in today. 2100 yards and it felt great. The first pair of goggles I was wearing broke, so i had to jump out of the pool and run/walk to my locker to get the other pair. boy am I glad that I usually have two pairs in my bag. Now I need to go shopping for another pair. Guy in the lane next to me was flying. I felt like I was in slow motion next to him. Well, since I am only competing again myself I'm fine. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II The pool is busy giving people a Fun Pass. Basically it is the same annual pass, but now it is on the computer and they swipe the card when you check in for your swim. They also took a pic and put it on the card so you can't loan your card to anyone else. Great pic after swimming 2100 yards. What timing. |

Just a quick note to say "Great job on the swim!". I was all set to go swimming today but ever since I'm seeing something in my right eye, and it's something internal, I decided to go in to the eye doctor as an "emergency" appt. to find out what the heck is in there. I never had my eyes dilated before and still having focusing problems, but it's a lot better now and getting better by the minute. It turned out that I have "floaters" - a little of the the jelly-like fluid that's inside the eyes have detached itself, and this is somewhat common. It's a first for me. I guess I have to get use to it, but keep watch of some other stuff that could happen. Now, I gotta get ready for da' PACKERS' game that's on in a few minutes!! Looking at doing a swim tomorrow late afternoon then after b-ball. |

Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II I've had floaters in my eyes since 1993. I still have them in fact. My optician told me they were harmless. I am so used to having them now though that they don't bother me at all. Unless I look at white walls - like if I'm committed. Which I could be, quite easily. |
