I'm just sayin'.  Those are pretty cool, but hard to compete with a Felt. Ann, I will use your new bike pic as wallpaper as soon as you post it. I am VERY excited to go get her. I was going to go to the Expo in Bethesda, but now I'm just not sure. The closer it gets to Saturday the more I'm thinking when I leave my sister's I'm heading to the bike shop to get her. Pics should be posted Saturday night sometime. You will probably have your pictures posted before I do! I am a slacker I don't want photos - I want to ride her Oh same here! That's why the pictures won't be up until Saturday night. I may take the pictures as soon as I get home, but after that I'm going for a ride. Do you think my husband will mind sleeping on the floor since my bike will be in bed with me? |

I sent the pink 'Sweatpea' bike to a friend and that is what she and her mom call each other. They want to know how to get one - I told them to set aside about 5K and you should be good - guess they are not interested! You can spend some serious coin on a bike. The friend I rode with on Saturday rides a custom Serrotta. I would be afraid to even guess what she spent, but it is a beautiful bike. |

I see we've been a chatty bunch this morning. Shocking! I'm gonna try and catch up here and log my swim from yesterday. I hope everyone's doing well...HEY THERE TOM. NICE SEEING YOU IN THE VILLAGE. sun shining on your side the country? its cloudy, raining and cold. WTH? did you do, go and steal all the sun again??? stacieb Oddly, not today. It's a very nice temp, but very cloudy and humid today. It gets that way this time of year and lasts until July or so. I could give you the weather-geek explanation, but the short story is that cold water + warm air = fog/lots of stratus clouds. thanks for the good chuckle. and WHAT????? CLOUDY IN SAN DIEGO....say it aint so. and lasts until July? really. i just might strike the place from my short list of places to go, unless of course it clears by the first week in August..... here, when its sunny, we all remark, 'feels like were out of town its so nice' stacieb It's so. Around here they call it "Gray May" and "June Gloom." The good news is that it typically burns off over land by noon each day so we still get sunny days, but out to sea it can be very dense for days or weeks on end. well, when i come out TOM, we'll just leave your ship on shore and stay on dry land. stacieb |
