That's actually a very good suggestion, but the public pools don't open early, and Ashworth Park pool is within running distance - probably 3 miles one way - from my parents house. When I was in college, I used to run over there with a backpack on, swim (badly) and run home. 

I plan on running early, either before the kids are up or while my folks are feeding them breakfast. The plan on this visit is to make it very low key.

Here's a brief synopsis of my day... went to anther rec center to help coordinator figure out her budget for ski (she wanted to drop the program thinking she'd be in the hole, and there was no way I was going to hold the entire bag - so I HAD to save it)... debated coming back to work, thought I would and check my voicemails (which I still haven't done) and...

Locked my keys in the car...  now hubby has to rush them down here (24 mi RT) and pick up DS #1 on the way and get him to Swim Lessons (7 mi back towards home) for 5pm... I'm worrying about traffic to say the least...

Perhaps I should make a copy of my car key to keep at work, though more often than not I'm locking my office keys in my office, not car key in the car

LATER....Now I must geaux wait for hubby...
