Extreme Veteran 530 Northwest Louisiana | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts Hate to disrupt the post padding fun, but I have a question. I've got an injury that I wasn't counting on. What do I do for the challenge? When I put my mileage down, I didn't think this was going to go this far. However, things have changed. I don't want to let the team down nor do I want to negatively affect the team results. Please advise. |

Hi, Ive got a system in place for goal reduction... its pretty simple and we basically reduce your goals by the time youve been out of action... Why dont you PM me (or post here) all the details and we can work it out.... Cat |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts lastcall2003 - 2008-10-09 11:52 AM Dark Arts notes – Volume 6 A few of our favorite things; TOPPAGE, post count, Stars (it really is all about the stars ), wine, beer, (any fermented beverage will do), food – definitely food, whips and cattle prods We had a guest appearance from our lovely evil Dee! Hi Dee, sorry I missed you! Phil (1stTimeTri)- believes in quantity over quality , he has proven himself to be a sensitive guy – now worries Phil, you can still keep your man card . You won’t find any buttons to push cuz he has levers, manly levers, gears and pulleys – LOL! Steve (AccidentalChef)- is getting in some good T.I.T.S, not quite as much fun as TOPPAGE, but still good Melissa (BunnyB) – will likely be very scarce until Oct. 27. She has a friend arriving from Detroit today for a visit. On the same day he leaves, I'll be getting on a plane and heading for Hawaii for a vacation. She’s going to try and keep her log updated for the challenge – have fun Melissa, we’ll miss you! Emily (esc) – is trying to get Travis to do her homework for her, so she doesn’t fall off of her bike in the morning due to lack of sleep – didn’t look like he took on the challenge. According to Emily – shopping solves everything Cat (kaqphin)- Cat’s mum is a super fit lady – while she doesn’t actually ‘exercise’, her active lifestyle gives her plenty of physical activity – she raises bulls! (yes Cat after all this time you still have a few surprises up your sleeve ) Kendra (kns57)- couldn’t get her workout in due to storms, but she’s going to ‘more than make up for it today’, right Kendra - and is it true Kendra? Do librarians know everything? Beth (lastcall2003)- made upsidedown pizza for dinner, her recipe is definitely not for vegetarians don't tell Phil, but I'm secretly liking that he is getting blamed for the high post count, takes the heat off of me Matt (mdb) – Matt! Stopped by to gain Intel on the thread – he very quickly caught on to the art of post padding in his multiple post thank you to Phil – nicely done Matt! Judi (QueenZipp) – Her buddy taping the toe approach was successful and her foot was happy during her run (she is showing her true colors indeed ) She finds proving people wrong to be great motivation – don’t tell her she can’t do something, cuz she will be sure to prove you wrong! Kathrin (ratkat) – not only reached her century post, she did a most excellent job of setting up Kristin for her 1K post and TOPPAGE! So, do we get the recap of Project Runway and Biggest Loser? Travis (tlnewman)- is pumped for his marathon – He also had a brilliant triple post that landed him some TOPPAGE!!! He learned today that the guys at the office are askeered to run with him – something about to running to many miles at a time, to many times a week, to fast for them to keep up – nice! Sharon (zeefraugtries) – team, Sharon could use some cyber hugs and inspires, her leg isn’t healing as quickly as she was hoping – she’s got a marathon planned for 12/14 and is still hoping she can do it Kristin (LazyMarathoner) – talk about a major milestone – 1k posts and TOPPAGE! She shared one of her favorite websites with us http://www.bumwine.com/. Kristin has a trip planned this weekend – she is headed to Chicago for a long weekend and Chicago Marathon jockstrapping. Have fun Kristin! Librarians don't know everything, they just know how to find everything. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! |
