But at least it calls for a 15 mile bike  And by it, I mean the random three week half marathon training plan I conjured up.

Good!  I went and ran the route that my last tri was on tonight.  I love that path, always have a good one there. 

No travel issues I assume?

the weekend after the 4th of July - I hope they like the houses I've found so far  

According the Christian Pruhomme they wanted to have a first stage of the road race which was more open in terms of who would be wearing the yellow jersey at the end of the first day...

With the stage they have set they are hoping for lots of breakaways and counter attacks from great one day riders and stage winners who would not normally be likely to wear yellow...

Hopefully that will workout as i suspect it might come down to a bunch sprint of sorts even with the slight uphill finish at the end of the first stage (i dont have the profile in front of me to I hope Ive remembered that right)

I guess it'll work out for them.  All I know is last year in London was amazing, and it's hard to believe they would cut out the drama and intensity of the prolouge.

yep - my company will pay for them to come out twice, so we've been waiting until we feel like it makes sense

i just wish my older two wanted to come out as well, but I understand why they don't

I think if they had a location like London to showcase they would be more inclined to have a prologue.

This year was unique that instead of a town applying to host a stage the whole of Brittany put in an application so i guess they saw this as something different to try!

Along the lines of a family move, Beth, a friend of mine just found out her parents are moving to...  Alaska.

She's in pharmacy school and living about thirty minutes from them in Memphis right now. 

I'll go with it, and of course I'll be watching.  I'm still bitter about the decision to drop the Team TT, though.  It's the most beautiful thing in sport to watch.

Wow that would be a shock when you are used to having them so close...

We moved to Bangkok when I was 10...

I must admit I do like it as well... and since TDF is the only race we get full live coverage here of - I miss it more because i never get to see them!
