What was so exciting on the roadside, free beer or a wet t-shirt contest?

wgraves7582 - 2010-06-30 4:09 PM So I am sitting watching TV with a hoodie and stocking cap on.  This is how our bodies respond when you go from 90's+++++ for 3+ weeks and throw it in a 60's with windchill environment.  I am laughing seriously about how I could be cold!!!

Bill, I went to Maine last summer and spent the whole week in a sweater.  All the Mainiacs kept apologizing for the heat wave.  LOL

mchally - 2010-06-30 2:42 PM Well it seems that the Ghoulies is the new Nibbs...

I think that I will start frequenting.    I miss the ongoing socialization that Nibbs use to provide.

I am eager to make some new BT acquaintances.  See ya round folks!

Mel, welcome to Ghoulies.  Ghoulies does help to replace Nibbs (sob).

Hey Ghouls.  Hope you had a fun day.  I started mine with the "zero-gravity" yoga class.  It was freakin' hysterical.  I looked like a complete dork and couldn't do about a third of the moves, although I did not fall on my head which was a real possibility.  The hanging upside down stuff was a touch nervewracking. That said, it was a really tough workout and I will try it again.  Followed yoga with a quick run, just because the weather here was too nice NOT to run.

It was a gorgeous day to play hooky from work.  Got into the city around 10:30 so I had time to get a mani/pedi before my haircut.  Then just wandered around SoHo and the Village.  Window shopped and people watched.  Had a late lunch and came home.

So I will try to catch up later tonight after the chores.  I'm heading up to VT tomorrow, where they are winning the pic city of the week weather wise.  Bike will come along for some hill repeats.

A friend of mine, who is a pretty outdoorsy guy is going to do it with me. I'm assuming his girlfriend, my bff, is going to come along so there may be pictures. Boy do I hope not!

YES! Melindy is a HUGE troublemaker. You might want to stay out of the city when she's there next year.

Ok, I will check out where the Mid-Atlantic race is being held.  I think it may be a *wash* for me doing either the MA or NY race in terms of driving time.

No...unfortunately not I'm doing a HIM in Calgary the weekend after and need the extra days to get some experiments done before I leave for the week.

Thanks for the offer though! I'll have to cross my fingers!

Worst comes to worst I'll suffice with IMKY or IM Canada. I can probably hit up Penticton the last week of Aug to volunteer if need be. But I want a destination race!
