The hip is still sore but I am having some tightness in the right knee. I have Chiropractic Appt. today and then and appt. with my Medical Dr. later today also. I plan I starting swimming again on Monday and swimming for a week to be sure that my leg/hip does not get worse from that alone. Then adding back bike and lastly the run. This all depends on what the Docs say of course. I want to get back so bad but I also want it to be over so I've got to temper myself a bit. How is your training going??? R U ready to get at it in New Orleans.

Hi guys - It's been a couple of weeks so I thought I would check in. I've gotten over the stomach problems I was having. On the bright side, I did lose some weight.... I didn't do much but got some time on the bike (with the Spinervals dvd) and got a few runs in.

Greg-Sorry to hear about the injuries. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Ricky-Enjoy your taper!

I've got to make up for lost time.....I'm not interested in pretending to be a triathlete...

My goal is to keep the concept of controlling the circumstances and not letting the circumstances control me. I have been bummed and it is affecting other areas of my life. I need to control what I can and do what I can and not worry about the other things. Of course, that is easier than it sounds but I've gotta do it. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ricky

Make sure you make it a good time. I'm eating the lo-cal doughnuts and hoping to post a good time at Boise 70.3 so give me a good time to shoot for. U can do it...

well..........starting to get the taper blues & also doubting my training. I know i've said this before, but i just wish i could have got more long rides in.  I'm running as good as EVER & swim is OK, but i just don't feel confident on the bike. I jusy want to be realistic in my ability & not put soo much pressure to over-achieve. I REALLY want a time that starts with a 5 !!!!!Heck i'll take 5:59 -lol

Good luck Ricky! I hope you meet your goal. Whatever happens, remember you will be accomplishing something that 1/10 of 1% of the population would even attempt. Enjoy the day!
