I am not going to get a lot of work done this month if I have to keep up
I am Torben and I am in for 230km of running this month. I really wanted to make this a biking month, as I am still on the trainer do to all the white stuff outside but I really need to improve my running so I will be going for my biggest running month ever. The race season starts here at the end of the month and I really want to do well and get a new 5k PB. I might also run a 1/2 Mary at the end of the month, but I am not sure since I have a lot of races in the beginning of May, ut if the form is there I wil do it |

Expert 1067 Douglaston, NY | Subject: RE: The Justice League of BT Is it wrong that I am almost surprised this thread isn't 22 pages long after what I found this morning? Catching up with it not only used up all my "get to work early so I can get things done" time but sent me scurrying for a super hero appropriate icon to use (which I'll change after I post this). Since I'm relatively new to the site and this is my first challenge, I guess I should introduce myself as well. I am several month lurker on these forums but first time poster recently who has decided that he really wants to commit to the triathlon lifestyle, if for nothing else than the see if some of the people who post here really exist in the real world (just kidding!). I only started training a month ago but I’m looking forward to this challenge since I tend to drop my bike workouts if I need an extra day of rest. I have my first sprint triathlon in 2 months so I am starting to get nervous and really need to commit myself. Last but not least, I promise I’ll try and hold on for dear life while I ride along with your breakneck posting speeds.

Pro 4608 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: The Justice League of BT A quick hi and introduction (clearly I'm late). I'm Kristin, I tend to be on challenge teams with Phil and Beth most every month. I have an HIM on Sunday (my first, yay!) so I'm slammed this week with prep, but will be more involved after the race. I also need to designate my super power for the month. I work with a coach and don't get a schedule until this weekend so I can see what he has planned for me then! I"m guessing I'll have a swim focus. |

There's at least 3 of us that have been together on a couple of past challenges and enjoy talking to one another. You're always welcome in. My mini-challenge for you is to break 500 posts before this challenge is done at the end of April. This is NOT an April Fool's prank, but the following is: So, enjoy the time being a Justice League member and we'll be seeing you around. *prankster TOPpage* Edited by 1stTimeTri 2009-04-01 2:05 PM |
