I just love to see everyone doing so well with this challenge!  And I know that it has kept everyone going strong.

But at the end of this week, it will all be over.  Any suggestions on how we can keep the motivation strong????

Another challenge, perhaps?

sorry i haven't been on lately guys. i had a work trip for the first half of this week and since i've been back it has felt like someone was punching me in the kidneys. i have no idea why i am so sore.

i am going to try and do some light stuff at the gym tonight to maybe stretch out my back.

at least it is starting to get warmer around here. tomorrow i may just get out one of my real bikes.

I like the challenge we've done these weeks. On Sunday night, I realized I was a little short of my goal for the week, so I went downstairs and finished up. I probably wouldn't have done it if we didn't have the challenge going.

If the other group doesn't want to, even just among ourselves would work.

I'm up for continuing the challenge..... If we can't find another group we could always split the members of this group into two or three smaller challenge groups. I like the challenge even though I have yet to make my number for the week. I do think about it though and I know it helps

Good job on the challenge everyone!  I'm sorry I brought down the average this week.  I don't know what I was thinking, shooting for 9 hours.

erjellum - 2007-03-05 9:49 AM Good job on the challenge everyone!  I'm sorry I brought down the average this week.  I don't know what I was thinking, shooting for 9 hours.

You were thinking that you were going to push yourself and achieve higher than you normally would.  How dare you push yourself?!

That, in my opinion, was the purpose of the challenge.  We set lofty goals and try to achieve them.  If you even got 15min more exercise in than you would have without the challenge, then we all won!

Woe be our competitors that are still on their couches.

Yup, that's the point of this!  Its a challenge made to yourself.  You set a goal and then bust your red bike to make the numbers.

Going to be optimistic and shot for 6. Hopefully it will happen. I shattered it last week because I didn't factor in my race.

Its been quiet in here...

I want stories!  Weird, creepy guy at the gym stories; stories about something you saw on your morning run; stories about something you read.

Here's a topic I'll throw out for discussion:  Speedo or no?  Speedo man was walking around at the pool last night, obviously quite *proud* of himself.  Being a triathlete, you have to get used to the speedo thing.  Come race day, EVERYONE is in skin-tight spandex outfits that leave nothing to the imagination.  I don't think anything of it anymore when I see a racer in a speedo.  But when you are at a public pool, and there is really no need for a speedo, why do some peeps still where them?

Oh yeah, and another thing... his speedo had obviously been worn in the pool a lot because the fabric in the back was wearing a little thin.  The entire tri team got a full moon with his pants ON!

So fellas (and ladies too), tip for the day:  Replace your swim wear often.  Just say no to CRACK!

Happy Tuesday!
