That snowman is fantastic. hahahaha. Brought a smile to my face.

Add another 2500 for me

Said swimsuits are fantastic. I swam in one of them last night. Little tight round the arse but most swimsuits are on me. Seems everything is starting to get a little smaller except my arse. I mean it's not THAT big but still, why isn't it getting any smaller?

I'll post a pic of them tomorrow. They really were a brilliant bargain.

Well done everyone!!!

2500 for me - total 13150 so far.

The xmas cookies were gone, so I made chocolate-toffee biscotti today.   Therefore, any benefit I gained from my swim was quickly lost in a sea of Heath bars =)

GO TEAM!!

I have a question. I need to swim another 2000y to hit my goal. Somewhere I saw it broken down with a weekly %. And wether or not each person has hit that weekly %. I have not been feeling too hot. Today was supposed to be a swim day but I took it off. I will have no problem finishing my 12000y by the end of the month, but if I do not meet my weekly % (even if I am well past the goal) do I hurt the team standings?

The reason I ask, I will probably be able to get in a swim over the weekend. It is not something I normally do, but I could do it for the Snowmen.

Do I get extra cookies for swimming with a cold?

abud i don't think you do hurt the teams standings, and even if you do i wouldn't worry - as long as we finish strong by the 31st!

i'd rather my teamies stay healthy than rush to finish.

right peeps - i gotta go do xmas shopping with ym da. keep swimming!

Morning folks!!!!!!   Ok. I am swimming tonight but I won't be around to log anything as I'm on HOLIDAY till after the New Year. I'll either get to the library or get my friend Leslie (Medusa_Ann) to log it in here for me if that's ok?

How can you stand to be away from a computer for so long? I have the computer on all day. Even with two kiddos running me ragged!

I have no yards to add to my total, nor do I really have anything worthwhile to contribute....however, I am impressed enough with my handiwork that I thought I'd share:

My sister got a road bike over the summer, but doesn't yet have a pump, so I got her one for Christmas.  Do you think she'll guess what it is??? =

Way to go lightsaber!

I too met my goal today - 2500 meters brings my total yardage to 20450.57 Yd for the month. (goal was 20000 yards).

Can I donate overages or adjust my goal? Will likely swim 2, maybe 3 times, before yearend.

can i ask a favour? could somebody else do team captainly duties for me this week? have been cooking and doing urgent diy since 9.30am, and it's now 5.30 pm. am busy all day tomorrow and boxing day.

it's fairly easy to dl the spreadsheet from the captain's thread, and then copy the previous data from earlier spreadsheets and then just trawl people's blogs to get this weeks info.

my target has changed but don't worry about changing that, i'll sort it next week. sorry to be crap but my parents have needed lots of support today, as thye got burgled last week and the police have caught and released a suspect - ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry, Jackie, to hear about your parents house. I wish I could log the info for you, but I cannot access it myself. My Mac is disgrunteled.
