Once you get to a certain level, though, you have to start specializing the workouts or they just turn into junk miles. But you should be PROUD of yourself for 3.2 miles... particularly since you're more a cyclist to being with. I'm still pretty new to the tri thing but I have noticed that exact thing. Each area tends to compliment the other, especially when it comes to running for me.
