Congrats on getting to your 30 days. Do you plan on conituing the streak?

Yes :)  I really enjoy streaking.  It keeps me motivated to run regularly, and I credit it for curing my PF.

Ron, you've hit so many milestones this year!  You're setting the bar extrordinarily high.  Congratulations on Boston :)

I am officially over reached again, damn it. I had a bad period last February and it took me months to recover (actually, now that I write months, I may have been "overtrained".  I think this time it was the combo of increased mileage, heat, and some personal stress.  I'm going to try to keep my streak going with some 2 milers and still recover.  I wonder when I'll grow up and do this whole training thing smarter.

Awesome. I will be running Boston in 2015. I say will, because if I do not qualify this Nov, I will run every qualifying marathon I can get to until I do. It should be real special next year though.

#318- 2 miles again. I can walk without limping, mostly. Once I loosen up, I can run ok also. Its a bit tight, still a little pain. Will continue with 2 miles daily until I can honestly tell myself that it is pain free.

Way to hang in there. I have worked through a couple of issues since starting my streak.

Day 661, 6.2 recovery/taper miles. Air Force marathon this coming Saturday. I also went over 6000 miles for my streak yesterday on day 660 but did not realize that until today. 61.05 miles for the week.

#319- 2 miles again.

Varied my pace a bit and tested my calf. It feels ok. It is sore if I apply firm and direct pressure, and a bit stiff when I woke up. I feel just about ready to start adding some distance tomorrow. The good news with all this is that I've been in the pool more in the last week than I have for the entire previous month.

3 miles early Saturday morning before another football tailgate, and then about 8 miles on Sunday. Feel apart in the last mile, had to walk the last .5 or so home. Trying to build the mileage without hurting myself. Probably would help if I didn't have big binge drinking weekends...haha

One to go for the year mark, great job. When you started your streak did you ever think you would still be running every day a year later. I know I sure did not.I was not even sure I could do the 30 some days I originally intended to do.

Day 664, 9.1 miles with 3 miles at marathon pace. Tune up for the Air Force marathon Saturday. I had an addition put on the back of my race shirt, the front I have my name Ron and US Navy Retired on it and on the back I had them put "You Have Just Been Geezered" I hope too many folks do not get offended by it. It was my daughters idea and I loved it. We will see how it goes the Saturday.

No one should be offended by that, and if they are, they can get their butts out there and run more until you can't pass them. Go get'em, I say.

#322- 7mi easy pace.

A bit stiff overall, but everything felt ok. I won't do any speedwork, or anything with any intensity this week, but I will try to get back on track with mileage. Going to foam roll...again.
