Don't drink at the party, but certainly keep his glass topped up. And ask questions about his family and such. Talk briefly about yours and mention your brother's girlfriend (wait, or is it wife?). THEN, find a way to mention you've been seeing different people lately (who cares HOW lately it was), they're all right, good fellows, fun, but no one special. Then wait expectantly. This is the opportunity for him to report whether or not he has a girlfriend or how long ago. Lol - will see what happens... assuming its quiet enough to had said conversation of course... maybe i can somehow convince him to take the Ferris Wheel with me... yes really we have access to a Ferris Wheel for about an hour nad a half during the night.. I remember the pics from last year! hehe no ferris wheel access last year... it was the carousel and another ride... Im looking forward to it!! (TOPPAGE)

Nope... Im sure he would take me if i pushed the issue. He emailed me Monday when I was off sick and asked me how I got on over the weekend... he went out and rode in the pouring rain (freak). Then he emailed me again today with some indoor cycle workouts and offered to talk to me about it so... But i *think* he has a girlfriend so nothing is ever going to come of it... and Im sure at least one person will say he is too old for me! Maybe he is looking for a different girl friend? I have no idea... not even 100% sure if he has a gf! He has mentioned he sleeps in his house with his bike in the room (few women outside of cycling/triathlon would allow that!) and I know he has an ex (although ow recent that is I dont know) Its all very cryptic... and being a work colleague (Although I dont really have anything work related to do with him) I dont want to just ask either.. Work christmas party next week... guess if he goes to that I may be able to get some more information... although I dont think Im going to be drinking... that just makes it easier for me to get info right? Either way I think he is good to spend a bit of time with...
He sounds perfect - why don't you just hang out with him a bit and see what happens. And if you hang out with him you'll find out if he has a significant other. Its funny that he has his bike in his room, LOL, why, is it expensive??? And age, shmage. Who cares if he's older. More mature I say
And more experienced right??? Yes he has a very very nice bike... very very very very... and we know how I feel about bikes!
So, do you fancy him, or his bike? LOL!!!!

I now have 4 1/2 hours to kill before I start afternoon consults. I hope I won't My mum had a great idea for Christmas this year - instead of everyone buying a present for everyone, we'll do a Kris Kindle. I think its great. Christmas Day is at our house this year, so with preparing for that, finishing off the painting, working and (of course) training, if I don't have to shop for a gazillion presents it will save me a lot of time
Sounds like a good plan... Ive done about half of my christmas pressies... work gave me a voucher this time last year Im considering using for two of the other pressies... is that bad?
PS - you're super organised!!! Half of your Chrissy shopping done already? Wow.
Lol - I dont have a lot of people to buy for which helps... and Im doing a couple of combined pressies: Bro and his gf are getting this beautiful hard cover art/cookbook thing.. not cheap but makes it easier... might get some other small token for my bro...
I *heart* cookbooks. That sounds like a great present
This is the book: http://www.murdochbooks.com.au/artlunch.htm
I got my two copies of it (both gifts) at Borders! Couldnt beleive my luck finding something so brilliant... my bro and his gf are both good cooks and she is an artist... its like a match made in heaven... The other is for the flatmates parents (they always send me something) not 100% sure if its a perfect fit there but should be close... I know his Dad is really into food and travel and his mum is into lots nad lots of 'stuff' |

Hi Yanti! OK I must check out this picture ...
Its checked - what a gorgeous boy!
Thank you thank you thank you. She was in a kill shelter, got picked up last-minute by boxer rescue, got adopted but then eaten by Rottweilers in her home, and that's when she came to me. She is a love and after all that still so very good with people, dogs, children, etc. She does have an overfondness for medication and peanut butter, but still. I think rescue animals are often the best animals My cat is a rescue from my first job, and she is the best cat I have ever had, very very loving. And doesn't go out of the garden. Almost like she knows she's onto a good thing now and won't leave! Even non-cat people like my cat.
