kaqphin - 2008-11-26 2:33 PM haha yeah - I was getting on his case about not contributing to the cost of food and I got told i dont nag enough... apparently my belief that you should say something once and it should happen doesnt work...

Hmm do I need nagging and whipping lessons perhaps?

Totally. Men complain that women nag, but women nag because men don't do what they're asked the first time round. You have to repeat yourself 20 times before it gets done. I don't want to be a nagger but its either that or do it myself, whilst hubby rests on his laurels LOL.

Its one of those things... its like the reverse when some one says they are going to do something... I just assume thats the case until they tell me otherwise... but then stuff just doesnt happens...

This just proves why I could NEVER be an EA or an event planner or something like that!

Apparently when South African people say they're going to do something "just now" it actually means "i'll do it later".

Kinda like when aussies invite you over and say "bring a plate" LOL

pipscweek - 2008-11-26 4:37 PM Hi PT Freaks...just checking in!  I hope you all have a fantabulous holiday!

Hiya - hows the ski conditioning going?

Absolutely fabulous!  Now we're just waiting for some snow!

Have fun at your office thingy.

It snowed on the slopes here over the weekend... no thats NOT normal for this time of year!

It's raining here. Now that's weird! Oh wait, it's November. You guys are spozed to be summery!

I think I'm going to go to bed soon. I's tired.

Yes we should be in summer. Instead we've just had a week of storms.

Hey guys, looks like everyone's been busy! Me having to log on at the equivalent of 3am makes it hard to keep up. I'm off for another run momentarily, I just need to pull up a map and try to pick a part of the city I haven't seen. That's the best part of running on vacation, you can cover so much more ground than just walking.

I'll be taking my Dutch tank, I mean my bike, out for a spin later as well. So far I've earned a point every day here and I'm sure I'm on track for a 6-point week! Someone will just need to put it in the spreadsheet for me if I can't get to Google docs. My connection is Sooooooooo slow.

Have a great day!

Late night update! On the bike ride that I did on the weekend there is a huge b*tch of a hill, and at the top there is always a photographer there to capture everyone's pain. A lot of people get off and walk up the hill. I rode all the way up, and at the very end still had enough energy to get my bum out of the saddle and pose for the photographer. I was so hoping it would turn out well - here 'tis! I am so vain LOL. Check out the look of pain on my face.

I have purchased the original but it won't be available for a little while so here is the copyrighted image off their website. I promise I'll put up the legal one once I have it

I think that is a pretty good picture.  The ones I get always look like I have to go to the bathroom.  Or there is a small child or elderly person passing  me on the bike/run!!!

December Challenges-I decided to do all 3. I know I was a little crazy yesterday-couldn't think strait with the migraine. Ended up in bed at 8, medicated. Better today though. I haven't had one like that in a long time.

So yeah, 3 challenges. what was I thinking? I was thinking I don't have classes for most of December so I have nothing else to do. Limiter Challenge-runnning is my limiter. Then there's the Train challenge, and the Pick Your Challenge-I'm focusing on strength training. Sounds like fun

Wow, I am tired just thinking about that! I am skipping challenges for December. Nothing really takes my fancy. But I might change my mind ...

Yeah I definatley work better without options I signed up for Dee's challenge... really because it was Dees rather than any other reason!

Hey cat how are ya?  When you all sign up for challenges do you request to be on certain teams or do you go with who ever you get in hopes of meeting some new nice/cool people?

Usually I leave it up to the challenge leaders.. in Dec I asked to be on a chatty team. Hoping to gleam skills to update that post total.

Phil, we miss you!!!!!  Hey thanks for the link about the membership discount, might just have to jump on that.   Way to get in the workouts, even if you don't quite remember them.

Have a great thanksgiving with the Fam!!!!

Edit:  Toppage with Phil, as it should be

And I miss the gang, too!

Work has jumped over 50% since our change last week.  With that, I can't BT much anymore.  Thus, this makes a sad Phil.

Hey freaks, how are you??? It's noon in Amsterdam and I'm having a very slow morning. I slept in and felt all jet laggy so I've been catching up with email and BT. Not much planned for today, but I will be picking up my bike! Yay! I have a super slow connection so there's no way I can catch up with all I've missed here.

Looks like we're close to a third thread though!

Have fun today!!!  Don't forget your supposed to have a pancake and beer for each of us while your over there.    Oh and Magda says some other stuff too........

Don't worry, I've had enough beer for the freaks X10. I missed what Magda had to say though...

Ya better be bringing me back a sample 6-pack when you come to visit Madison!

Oh yay! Thank you. It's actually a she and yes, she's a cutie! (She thinks so, anyway. And boy she milks it).

Naw, I won't take that out of context and just will let that be.
