Subject: Feeling Bonky?

I was just at a place where professional phys therapy occurs and was talking about bonking with someone.

A guy who seems to know what he was talking about said that if you feel really out of gas in a race/ride/run, a trick they used for a sports team he worked for was to mash up skittles in your mouth and hold them under your tounge or between your lip and gums and let the sugar absorb right through your mouth.

Has anyone ever heard/used of this method?

That was probably pre GUs. Any liquid sugar sloshed in mouth would help.
