Subject: Savage Man questions
Just a question about the 30 mile Savage Man.  I just recently started in tri but would like to do the 30 miler in September.  I do not have a road or tri bike but been competing with a hybrid.  Does anyone use hybrids in the Savage Man or is it all road or tri's?  Thanks in advance.

Thanks alot for your reply.  I am going to try and get over and ride the course this weekend to get a feel for gear.  Just didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb being 1 of 400 on a hybrid.  Thanks again.

Savageman is as low-key as they come.  While it's still a competition, I think it's the least likely place in the world you'll get judged for not having a bike like everyone else.  Most people will probably be impressed that someone who is obviously new to the sport doesn't give a flying f*ck about which bike they use and gets out there and has a good time.
