soretaint - 2012-11-30 1:18 PM I prefer archery.....Tongue out

Is it fair to post a pic of some one who isn't you? Not that I'm complaining...

My daughter has recently (this past spring) taken an interest in archery, though it took a bit of a push to get her to try it the first time. But I never saw THAT on the range...

yeah she is good for other things..those things tend to not be as important once you pass 25 years old (30 if you are a navy pilot) and you want more the total package which I have found and she is awesome..... plus your AR would kick her Bow and Arrows A$$

Just had to throw those in....hehe

In reality, I love to see any weapon in the hands of a lady! My girls love to go hunting or shooting with me, bow or rifle, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Smile

Pic from the Babe's with Bullets camp I went to a month ago.  Doing a little USPSA shooing....

I shot this with a S&W Sigma 9mm (my temporary competition gun until I splurge for an M&P), I carry a Walther PPS 9mm.  I also have a .38 Ruger LCR and I just brought home my latest toy - S&W M&P15.

Ok, here.

We have .30-06 for deer hunting, an AR-15/M4, just got a .22 for practice and a .45.

Oh, you didn't mean those? I don't have a good pic with the real guns. I'll take pics at the range next time we go.

Great shots, pics that is.....

It was my first gun and looking back I think I would have been happier starting with a compact SA.  I rarely shoot it now because I hated how much it kicked (you'd think I'd noticed that when I demo'd it...).  Having said that, I've made some corrections to my grip so I'll probably take it back out and try it again.  It wasn't really what I had in mind for a carry gun, the wheel wasn't comfortable to sit against and I never really found a happy spot to keep it (though some of that is probably the holster).

That's mostly what I'm looking for, a small conceal that can provide enough protection. The holster is KEY for me, because I will only carry it when running alone. I haven't found an Ultra vest I like yet, but when I do, having easy front pockets, big enough for a small gun, is what I'm going for. So, when I find the right 'holster' (running vest), I will find a gun to fit. But, the LCR has been on the top of my list. Now, to find something to fit a gun...

Had 60 degree weather this weekend so I took out the AK-47. This is now my favorite gun to shoot.  Forgot to take pics though.

So, when I find the right 'holster' (running vest), I will find a gun to fit. But, the LCR has been on the top of my list. Now, to find something to fit a gun...

I recently picked up a pair of the UnderTech Concealment shorts...they fit a lot like compression shorts and I was able to get them in Black (GlockStore.....horrifically slow shipping because they were out of stock - like 2 months from the time I ordered them).  I wear them under a running skirt or capris and they work out pretty well.  The 'holster' is a strong elastic so you do need to be careful holstering the gun because depending on your mag release (my PPS is on the trigger guard) it has some potential to get hung up.  I've done runs up to a 5k with them so far and no major issues.  It's a weird feeling at first because it feels like it is bouncing, but it really isn't...it's just extra pronunciation of your running movement.  In a running skirt, which sits lower on my hips, my shirt can get hung up on the gun thus rendering it not concealed (not a biggie in AZ).  In capris, I can completely cover the gun, but it's a tad more difficult to draw.

Only complaint is the seam in the back rubs so I ended up with a small raw spot in the middle of my back.  Maybe bodyglide?
