2008 sunfish tri

This was a good race last year. It rained a little during the race and that kept the temperature down. It seems many are a little disappionted in the race being shorter - a true sprint. The swim was in the Okatibbee Reservoir last year and the water level was low. I don't know anything about Bonita.

It really poured on the ride home.

But a very good race.

i used to swim in the res. that was years ago. when i was younger we would go shoot rifles at bonita lakes, but things have changed a lot since then. i prob will sign up for the sunfish (have not been to meridian in awhile used to be home years ago).....aint fast, but just to finish would be good. Ok not to drown would be good as well...goal is under 2 hours ....best of luck.

I'm not sure about this one yet, if i do end up doing it i will probably decide the week of.  Just may not consider it worth the time/money. I've heard it is a good one though.

ok yes i will be there, of course i should be easy to spot.....the one at the back throwing up......looking forward to seeing meridian again...its been awhile.

Done......2:10......finished...did not drown....slow transitions......slow run....but had a great time at the event! next up king of the hill in tupelo.....longer swim....longer bike...longer run....argh.....we will just have to see how it goes.....see ya'll there.

It was a very well run race in a great location. I had a good race (1:23:xx)... Next up for me is the Heart of Dixie this Saturday - also a much longer race (1/2 swim, 27 bike and 7 run)...
