Subject: RE: 200lb Clydes ????????1 ) I've never won a race 2 ) I'm never going to stop trying to win a race We're not in grade school any more, so we shouldn't just be out there "to have fun and work on sportsmanship". I coach little league soccer and I explain to my kids, "yes, we're going to have fun, but it's alot more fun when you win". I'm teaching them to be competive, not just in sports, but life. Some/Most people may never win a race, but when you stop trying to , you're wasting everyone else's time. Getting in shape is a bonus, but it's called a race, act like it. And don't pretend for 1 second that if you busted your a** preparing for it and actually won, that you wouldn't be proud. Edited by brycoy 2010-06-25 10:21 AM
