Subject: Training Log UPDATES-BUGS

It's LIVE...the multiple trisports logging.

This effects all reports, graphs, equipment logger, routes, copy/move/delete, and enhanced HR zones (we are still debugging the enhanced HR zones, though you can log them and it will record, the graphs just aren't hooked-in yet.)

Please report any bugs or errors in this thread.

WHAT IS NOT SUPPORTED YET:

Importing via csv
Training plan creation

Ron,
Great job on upgrade. I edited my duathlon results from yesterday. Now my log shows both of the runs. AWESOME.

John

PS. I bet I am the first one to use this feature for race results!

Hi Ron.  Just logged a run using the Route tracker and the route tracker didn't save it (all I wanted was the distance anyway - Which I got before the window shut itself down)

I'm hoping this isn't linked to the upgrades.

 I'm loving the upgrades!

For my run I did on the 3rd of Feb., I selected my shoes as equipment I used on the run.  When I go to the Equipment Tracker and hit the 'Show All Workouts' button, that workout is not displayed.  Actually, I went back and looked, and the run I did today is not showing up either.  I wonder if it is related to the new functionality?

Hi Ron,
I was playing with the dual logging for some of my to/from work rides in Jan.  I noticed twice so far (out or 5 log updates) that I can get the "add another swim workout" button under the swim section after I clicked to add another bike workout.

Cool stuff thanks to all for the hardwork to bring this online!

Madonna,

The 'add new route' button in the logger is fixed for all 3 sports.

Donto, I can't seem to repeat it yet...if it happens again, try to take a screenshot immediately after the button shows up for the swim if you were adding something to the bike.

Newleaf, not a bug, you have a lot of workouts under those shoes, you should see a 'go to page' dropdown in the top right of that chart.  There is a page two there that your workouts from the 3rd and 4rth are.

Hmmm...

I don't see any of the  Add another Workout buttons under the Actual log.

Under the Planned log, I can see the Add another Swim Workout and Add another Bike Workout buttons but no Add another Run Workout.

Those buttons will show up immediately after you enter either a distance or a time...that should be why you don't see them in your actual log if you haven't logged anything yet.  You probably see them in your planned log for workouts already there.

Though if I'm wrong, tell me what days you are looking at and give me some more details.

Howdy Ron,

The new logs are great - I haven't tried all the functionality yet, but I really like the option of being able to log a second workout!

The thing I miss though is the 'Saved Successfully" note at the top of my log after I've saved a workout.  Now it's just blank and I'm never sure if it's actually saved or not.  So far everything has saved, I just have to go back to the training log view to see it.

Thanks for all the support, this is by far my favorite site!

Cheers
Colleen

Colleen, was that JUST for the 'SAVE' button?  It wasn't for any of the 'save and return to...' buttons on the line below it.?

I don't use 'save' button, just the 'save and return to blog' so may have forgotten we even had that note...let me know.

Too funny, I only use the 'Save' button - I don't know how I've looked past the 'save and return to...'  I think it's only on the 'save' button.

I had some problems today trying to move some of my training around for the upcoming week.  I would select the move to option and then the date to move it with the respective training and then hit the go button and then the two pop-ups to okay the change.  When I go back to my training plan,  the data was deleted from the original date but not moved to the new date.  I ended up having to edit the planned training for each day, not a big deal but hopefully it was just a fluke today.

Were you moving data from your planned or actual training?  Was in one day or a date range?  Just one sport or all of them?  I just tried to move one day of data, if I checked all the boxes, it moved everything.

Do you remember what boxes you checked to 'move' data? (ex, swim, bike, run, related comments, etc).

I thought I extensively tested this part, but perhaps something got overlooked.  If you don't remember exactly what you did, keep an eye out for next time and give me the details...I will look at this some more tomorrow too.

Ron,  I was trying to move in planned for one day to another and I know that I did not have any data on the day I was moving and it was definitely only one day to another day.   I was trying to move run data and related comments which disappeared, then I tried to move bike and swim data with related comments and that disappeared too.  I did not try to move all at once.    I just tried to move a planned bike to another day this week and it worked fine.  I will let you know if I have problems again.

Thanks again for all your work with BT.  I really do appreciate it and am pretty sure I would not be training for my first triathlon without it!

Ron, it looks like my "hours slept" for every day of the month is getting changed to the amount entered on the latest entry.  Example, my monthly view shows that every day this month I've slept exactly 7.25 hours, when in reality I slept that amount only last night...  Check it out:

I see the issue...it's being logged correctly but just not displayed in the week and month reports correctly...we'll get it fixed soon...those two pages have seen some extensive modifications the last week or two so we may have bumped into some code.

Ron,

Great work. My bug is similar to Brian's. In the week view, my weight is shown as the last entry made for both previous and future days. The avg weight for the week is accurate, however.
