Pre-race routine:

Got up, ate 2 pancakes, 2 cups of oatmeal, 2 bananas, 16 ounce gatorade
Event warmup:

1/2 mile jog, some light stretching

Comments:

Trained for BQ, got the BQ. But hit the wall badly at 35km. Hit 40km at 2:59:15 mark and last 2.2km were a blur. Once I hit the finish line, I knew I made it to Boston for 2005!
What would you do differently?:

Choose an easier marathon for my BQ... Run was good simply for the fact that I BQ'd...

Foot Massage, Plenty of Bananas, food...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The pollution and course.

Event comments:

Awful organization. Later water stations were empty, two people died on this marathon course, lack of first aid. Crowd was so-so but the pollution, OMG the pollution!
