I am new to cycling. I have a Raleigh Road bike on layaway that I will need shoes for but I also teach spin class and the bikes in class are different. There is a type of shoe that will fit both types of bikes (a universal??) Would your shoe work??

Yes. This shoe will work for both things. I have done a spin class in these shoes, and have also ridden outside with them. You purchase the cleats separatley from the shoes, when you purchase your pedals. I have had good luck with Look brand pedals and cleats, but what you use is up to you.
