swam around 200 over to the beach and did some stretching
Swim
  • 18m 17s
  • 1000 meters
  • 01m 50s / 100 meters
Comments:

i got lost 2 times and did a little v action ... other then that felt good... some one kept grabbing my feet literely so i did a few big kicks and shook the 2-3 different times
What would you do differently?:

pay more attenting to where the finish line was... i didnt know how close i was till i was around 50 meeters from the exit. the sun was in our eyes in the swim back.
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

i was in the opening heat so my bike was right near the bike exit... that was sooooo nice!!
What would you do differently?:

nothing... mabey run a little harder up the hill to t1
Bike
  • 50m 5s
  • 18 miles
  • 21.56 mile/hr
Comments:

where to start on the bike.... after about .3 miles my speedomitor was not picking up any times or anything... so i had to stop to fix it... 1st problem.... so i could have lost around 20 seconds on that one... about a mile in to the 3rd lap i thought i had some snot running down my nose and wiped it with my had, o wait thats blood, great a bloody nose... so it driped all over the place and i tried to stop it by pinching the bridge of my noose.. helped a little but still gave me some probless untill almost the middle or close to the end of the 4th lap. while i was pintching my nose i lost some time that i could have been spinning harder if my elbow had not been on the aero pad... i got a lot of people to ask if i was ok and what happend though and it might have looked kindof cool too.
What would you do differently?:

make sure equipment was running and use vasoline... but i went faster then i did on the Time trial the other week in terms of average speed so im cool with how i did i guess
Transition 2
  • 00m 42s
Comments:

i went like speed race in this section... 7th overall fastest and 3rd in my age group
What would you do differently?:

nada
Run
  • 35m 23s
  • 4.5 miles
  • 07m 52s  min/mile
Comments:

having a good transition helped me get on the run a little bit faster. everything we fine till my other nostral started bleeding alittle.. this one was not near as bad as the first though... got to love allergies and my puppie slamed her head in to my nose earlier this week and its still sore so this probley jard my nose a little loose
What would you do differently?:

find a more cumfoturable pase... it felt like i had three speeds.... slow, medium, and sprint to the finish... i need to work on my speed for a 5 mile run
Post race
Warm down:

run threw the finish line get medle and walk over to some of my friends and talk to them

What limited your ability to perform faster:
