Subject: Pool Tethering System Question
Anyone have any experience with a good swim tethering system?  Do they work well enough to replace a larger pool for swim training?  Anyone notice the iPool with heater for about $2K - looks interesting and a whole lot cheaper than an endless pool.

I own and use a riptide swim tether.  I like it.  It's not as cheap as some, but it works well in our family pool. (www.swimriptide.com).

If you get one make sure you follow the instructions on ordering the proper swim shoe size.  Make sure you order AT LEAST a full size Smaller than your street shoes.

No substitute for a day at the lap pool, but in a pinch it lets you get in a pretty good workout in the home pool.
