Subject: Sleep, glorious sleep!

Could be common knowledge, but my sleep has GREATLY improved, so I thought I'd share, cause good rest is important!

I recently learned that the average sleep cycle runs approximately 90 minutes.  Having had a TON of problems lately with waking up with the alarm and feeling like I'd not slept a whit, I started setting my alarm for whatever multiple of 90 minutes was closest to when I needed to be up.

WOW.  I can't begin to describe what a difference this has made in my sleep.  I'm now usually waking up naturally between 5-15 minutes before the alarm, or when the alarm does go off, I feel like I've really gotten a decent night's sleep because I'm not waking up in the middle of my sleep cycles.

This could be the very reason I wake up at 5:30 when I am going to bed consistently at 10:00. It seemed so frustrating to think I could have stayed in bed another half hour. Hmmm...interesting to ponder. Thanks!
