another great transition! came off the bike running really fast > almost too fast > had to slow to keep from loosing my balance > looked kewl though!
What would you do differently?:

nothing

  • 23m 40s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 07m 38s  min/mile
Comments:

had a really great run! this was only one of a few that i didn't catch a stitch on > was able to run fairly hard and consistent > seemed to keep positivie splits throughout
What would you do differently?:

i probably could've kept the push towards the last 1/2 mile but let up just a bit so i would be able to sprint into the finish > it always lookx kewl when you're running fast a couple of hundred yds out and the crowd is watching!
Post race
Warm down:

walked around > shot the shit w/a few peeps

What limited your ability to perform faster:

i didn't feel to limited on my performance > i don't think i could've went any faster

Event comments:

not to downplay this race as average but it is a small town type of race ?> it's been in exstence for 25yrs and has always been a good race venue > the local YMCA puts this on > they have great volunteers > there were no flaws or confusion > everything went very smooth > i would recommend this race to anyone from a newbie to a veteran > it's a very good venue to start off as a newbie since the distances are very short > it's a really great venue for a veteran who wants to push the limits at a true sprint distance > you can absolutely go out and blow this race out w/o any restrictions from the outside worold so to speak > miniable traffic > never had a vehicle pass me and intrude in my space > big kudos to all involved > everyone always has a great time and a great race
