Subject: Melbourne Marathon and 1/2M?

Is anyone planning on doing the Melbourne Marathon or 1/2M in February? Warning the site plays music on any page viewed. 

I'm penciling in the 1/2M to give me a goal for some run focused winter training in prep for a summer HIM.  Maybe I'll see you there!

I may be doing the half but I'm not 100% yet.  That's about a month before my first Tri of the season (Wildman Triathlon Festival, Oly) which would work out perfectly..  I'll keep you posted.

I put it on my calendar. Today is the Spacecoast Marathon and 1/2. Next Saturday (12/6) is the OUC half in Orlando. Im running that one, my first 1/2.

I'm registered for the Melbourne Music Half -- I like the idea of running the inaugural.

Yesterday I ran the Space Coast Half, hoo boy was it windy on the way back!

In case you are confused by the courses shown on the website, the race routes are both running (no pun intended!) in a clockwise direction.  That said, the 1/2M course is not correct near the end. As you come down off of the Melbo Causeway you will turn left after the base of the bridge to get on East Melbourne Ave, not up to US1.
