Comments: Nice day for a meet at one of the best pools I have ever seen. It looked like a division I pool.Only four swimmers from my team showed, not much interest from other teams as well, when they made a 10 minute plea for timers I new this was going to be a fast meet from lack of participation. I would not be so lucky as there were three heets for my one event. I just need to get this nationals qualifying thing over with so I can enjoy swimming other events like 100IM,200,500 free,100 breast. Although I did not qualify for nationals with my 34:50(needed 33:40) I should be able to next year, I plan on bieng way more in condition next year as I will increase my sprint training. What would you do differently?: More kick sets, more structured sprint training with specific intervals. Post race
Warm down: 200 swim What limited your ability to perform faster: Start; it just felt weak.Timing;my pull felt way stronger than my kick.Turn;it just felt akward and slow. Last updated: 2008-09-17 12:00 AM

300 swim that really focused on turns and a few starts.
Some stretching, another 300 warmup just before heet, meet was going fast so I did not do much. No diving at warmup pool.
