This was tough!  For me it was a toss up between GU and Hammer.  I think the Hammer gel has the best consistency and I love the espresso flavor.  But, I gave my vote to GU as the tri berry flavor is to die for IMO.  Looking in my pantry, I have obviously leaned towards the GU tri berry flavor the most  

3rd for me is the AccelGel raspberry cream flavor.

I've used Gu for years and get free/discounted Hammer gel through my team and I like them both.  Have to say though, I bought a mixed box of CarBOOM a month or so ago because it was cheaper per packet and the flavors are GREAT!  Really unique and really tasty.  If they stay cheaper, I'll keep buying them.

GU is great.  I like just about all the flavors and it is nice to be able to switch flavors duringa long ride.  I have had great success with it so no reason to try anything else.  Although I have borrowed some powerbar gels that made me want to gag.

I'm partial to Clif Shots; maybe it was all those morning bike rides before my usual coffee. Somehow seem less like a science experiment to me than some of the others.

Gu chocolate flavor is the best tasting. It is a little thick but not as bad as others.
