Subject: Westchester Toughman '09

I got a "SIGN UP EARLY" email from these guys a couple weeks ago.  They didn't even sell out last year - so seems premature to race to the sign-up.

 

I'm considering this race.  Anyone else doing it?  I'm about to go check out the thread from last year, but thoughts from anyone on last year's race?

I'm "thinking" about it.  As in I've never done a 1/2 and do not know if my training will allow me to attempt one this season, but if things go well I might sign up if it is not sold out.  ;-)

I did it last year and had a great time.  Very well organized and supported, especially considering it was their 1st year. The RD is definitely on top of the ball and knows what makes a good race.

The run was more off-roading/xterra-style than I expected, hilly too.
