Subject: bike maintenance
I have just bought a nice new OCR3 bike. I spent some money on it (not a super amount but enough for me right now). I am looking at it as an investment. I was wodering if someone could point me in the direction to go as to how i should maintain it i.e. cleaning it, grease it, and things that i havent thought of yet.
Thanks
sean

Hey sean,
keep it clean, dont leave it outside (in the rain/moisture) dont hose it at all - or the grease will wash out. keep all components properly adjusted ie: gears, brakes, wheels (true), headset, and make sure u tighten the cranks every few rides as they can tend to work loose. may be best to take it to a bike shop for this... keep the chain lubed and it should be fine.

I second the above. Also, try not to store your bike on the wheels. Find some place to hang it up. Congrats on the new bike!! I have a Giant and it has performed wonderfully for me so far. ;-)
