Baxter's Nerve

Has anyone had to deal with a pinched baxter's nerve???

I have been dealing with an injury for the past 4 months or so and it is totally killing me. It was initially diagnosed as tendonitis of the peroneal tnedon. After 3 months of RICE, stim, a cortisone shot and as of recently ultrasound I have had no success. I just saw a foot and ankle specialist today and he said it was the baxter's nerve and I would need to see a neurologist to run some tests to verify it. I guess from reading on line surgury is really the only option for relief.

The big stresser for me is I was supposed to start training for IMLP a month ago and other then swim I have not been able to do anything.

If anyone has ever had problems PLEASE let me knwo what you did or didnt do and if ANYTHING helped........
