saw the link to sign up for a campsite how exactly does that work...ie how do you know what campsite you get,  are there any other park fees involved and when your there how do the cars access it and is it just cars in on the day before and then they're stuck their until sunday evening or what.  And how do most people do it, rough it in the tent or sleep in their cars, or bring in the RV so they can sleep in a bed.

Answers:

When you register you get the option of Standard or Premium campsites.

Premium sites are RV/Electric/water sites.

Campers will find out their exact campsite # at packet pickup. All campsites are within 300 yards of the finish line.

We will send out a email to all registered campers closer to the event to see if anyone has special requests...such as group placements.

The Standard campsites are attractive options even for people not camping...it gives athletes a reserved place to park as well as a place for family/friends to hang out. Bring the Mini-Van with the tailgating gear and party on the run course!

Thanks!

Hey Ryan,

I booked a premium site not knowing that it is for RVs as I will have a tent only. Is there anyway to correct it and change it to a regular camp site on ground #3, as I understand where all camping is.

Thanks

...only 7 Premium spots left. Colorado athletes soaked them all up...should have known that everyone in CO has a camper.

  • ..still about 50 standard campsites left. The standard campsites can still accomodate a RV...it just won't have electric hookups.
