Subject: HED S-Bend Extensions - Aerobars Question

Just want to know if the HED S-Bend Extensions can be used on the Profile Design Jammer Arm Pads or other brand of aerobars, or fits only the HED bars.  Says that the outside diameter of the extensions is 22mm.

The full HED Flip-Light S-Bend Aerobar cost around $200, but the extensions cost only $50 and if I buy, eg, the Profile Design Jammer aerobars ($80/$50 on ebay) and use only the armpad/bar, I will save a lot of $$$.

If someone here knows about this, please let me know.

The new Profile S-bend bars only cost $60 or something like that for the complete set including armpads/mounts. I think they are due out any day now.

Do you mean that Profile Desing will make an Aerobar with the shape of the HED S-bend model?

Yes...they had a full page ad in the most recent Triathlete magazine. It said they would be available soon along with a cow-horn base bar that would retail for $40. I found the base bar on their web site but not the S-bends. The combo package would run ~$100 for the base plus S-bends with mounts and pads.
