Could anybody tell me if this is a decent bike? I am new to the sport and have no idea on what to buy for a starter bike. It is a 2005 QR Kilo - FSA double front crank, FSA 700cc wheel and Shimano 105 components. It also has aero bars, not sure what kind though. Asking price is $600. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

i am very new to the sport, started last year.

the kilo is the entry level tri bike from Quintana Roo.  in my opinion they make nice bikes.  i was going to get the 08 tequila.  i rode the kilo 08 model also and thought it was a nice bike.  since 08 they don't have the kilo anymore they replaced it with tequilo.  same model for about $1600.

the aero bars are FSA if i am not mistaken remember this is a tri bike not a road bike.  quintana roo specializes in triathlon bikes and wetsuits.

We are a QR family. I have a 05 Caliente, and wifey has an 06 Tequlio. While the Kilo is the entry level bike from QR, it is a very good bike. Make sure the fit is right.

That sounds like a fair price to me, as long as it fits.
