I just didn't have it today. I was sick last weekend, missed two long workouts and only ran 3 easy miles this week. I knew in mile 2 I wasn't having a good run and head to talk myself into getting my head in the game just to finish. A year ago I would have been ecstatic with my finish, but it was a little disappointing after the great start to my racing this year.
What would you do differently?:

Not much, I couldn't have anticipated the GI bug I had. I do need to work on hills as trying to take them at race pace kills me!

I never raced anythi race with nearly this number of participants. Despite a disappointing personal run, the experience was a great one.
