I'm selling 2004 54cm IronMan 2000 Blue Cannondale bought January 2005. Hardly used. Taken care of, Just had tune-up. I love the bike, it is just too small. I need a 56-57cm. Asking $1500.00 and buyer pays shipping ($50.00).
Email for questions or details. I can send picture easily, or you can Google it.

Have a great day!

I am 5' 10". I can't get enough power when spinning because the frame is too small for me. I need a 56-57cm--- would be a better fit. I like the bike a lot, its just too small for my Amazon legs.....

No, they said I had it too long..... and they didn't have my size at any of their stores.....
Oh well. No big deal. Should be able to get decent amount for it.
I'm surprised at how many people so often get fitted for the 'wrong size'.

Man that sucks for you. One last stupid newbie question. Is there an option of potentially changing seatposts or something to get u in a better position? Maybe another bike shop would be more willing to help you rather than take a hit on the bike? Also another stupid question how much did you ride it in the two months????? Also, I'm having some frustration with my bike not being able to generate power. what is wrong with your position? or have u been told? I appreciate you sharing your experiences with me.

Other bike shops will only 'trade in' for the same brand, and they seem to be reluctant to do this. They will also only sell on consignment for 'their brands' too.
ITs a hassle, and I don't have time for hassles. I'd rather just sell it and but another one. By the time I hassle here and hassle there, just by working, I'd make the difference in whatever hit I take. I don't like jocking around and haggling with anyone. I have a low tolerance for it. Just disappointed the shop fitted me on one too small- but its common!

I am not getting enough extension on my legs when spinning, and I can even tell this after long rides by how I am sometimes 'sore' in lateral tendons of anterior tibilias muscles, et al.
I've got my seat post as high up as I can, and that only generates more back and neck discomfort. I've also angled the seat some, too.
No questions, at 5' 10", its too small for me.

How tall are you? What size bike do you have? Tri-bike?

I'm 6' tall but don't necessarily have long legs. I currently ride a 54cm fuji road bike and it fits me pretty well. But I wouldn't have anything to compare it to. Is it the length of your legs that makes it not fit well? if so how long are they?

54 CM sounds small for someone 6', but I'm not familiar with Fuji. Leg length? Not sure..... probably 31-32 inseam......

I think I'm the same. Who knows maybe I have the same problem. I've always felt a little slow. Felt like I oculdn't generate any power. But I think our legs may be the same length or close to it. so you're probably looking for somebody 5'7-5'10" with a 28-30" inseam.

Wow, sad to hear they mis-fitted you on a bike that expensive. Where did you buy it? Seems to me if you went in with the bike, and made it clear that you have no intention of leaving until the situation is corrected might be worth trying. Have you tried letting them make some adjustments? Customer service is being swept by the roadside and if you don't get in there and assert yourself, they will blow you off. Grab the first joker you see and ask for his/her boss..when that person comes out ask who their boss is. Stop asking when you get to someone who can and will help you. Worth trying, it has never failed me,,,, Good Luck...

Shimano Ultegra. Brakes are Cannondale

Shipping from Dallas, Texas. Willing to lower shipping costs to actual costs. I was just guestimating shipping costs.

Already tried. I don't have time to deal with yahoos and I have an extremeely low tolerance for B.S. I work too much, and have too much to do. Easier just to buy another, and sell this one. By the time I jack around with this bike, too much time is wasted, and time is money. I It's easier just to work one day and make the money which will make up the difference in whatever hit I might take. Life is too short, I don't have time for the b.s. Besides, I look 15 years younger than I am, and I have blonde hair........... so, it ain't as easy as you think. People assume I dumb, and it's NOT easy getting people to do what they are supposed to when you look like a teenager. Like I said, I just don't have time for it. And, the more I jack with it, the more time is wasted when I could be riding, running, traveling, or whatever........

IT's a great, comfortable bike.

OK.. just trying to help. Check out the QRoos. I got one last year and love it so far. Their frame geometry might might be just what the Doc ordered for your body type. From your description, we seem to be in the same boat (longer legs, shorter torso). They have a pretty specific chart for determining the proper frame selection and hit it dead on in my case. I'll ask around here send em your way if I find anyone looking for a bike. Good luck in any case

Yeah, I like the QRoos. Trying a 57cm now. Seems to be a much better fit. I have more power when cycling, and less neck / back discomfort. Yep, you are right. It's all about geometry, etc.... and your body type. I am just LONG everywhere. Long legs, long trunk. I know many people who have been fitted for the wrong size. It happens.

I also have the bike listed on eBay.

Hey,
I am new to trialthalons (just starting) and am looking for a bike to get started on. Yours looks like it might be a good fit and I also live in Texas which might make it easier to get the bike if it is still avail. Has it been sold yet?
