Subject: Hip Impingement
Is anyone familiar with this diagnosis??? Is it for real or just a catch all type diagnosis?

Hip impingement, or FAI, is very real and treatable.  First you have to find someone familiar with the diagnosis, find the correct diagnosis (xrays, hip arthrogram), then get the proper treatment.  Treatment can consist of conservative measures, but usually definitive treatment is a hip arthroscopy.
