Hi.

I'm fairly new here too. I've been lurking while using the training log. I'll be in Billings for the summer training for the Montana Marathon in September and with a goal of doing the Headwater Half next year. I've been thinking about doing the State Games too.

Maybe I'll see you out on the roads.

I'm training for the marathon now and looking to do the headwaters half next year as well. Shooting for IM in Cour de Alene in 2011. Will be doing other small runs around Billings as well.

Howdy back, pretty quiet place in this section.

Good to see that there are other MT tri-folks out there.

I've only been in MT for a year or so and am coming off of a long hiatus from triathlons. Hopefully, this time next year I'll be hitting a training climax for the Headwaters HIM. For now, I'll spend my road time running and commuting into MSU-Bozeman from Gallatin Gateway.

If anyone is in Bozeman and wants to get together for a road ride every now and again, I'd love to meet up.

The GF and I just sent off an e-mail to see if we could volunteer at the headwaters half this year. I thought it might be  a good way to recon the race a year early. If you get over that way during the race maybe we could plan on meeting then.

I am in SW Montana. DD and I just took first in the sprint-team division in Rigby, Idaho on Saturday. I have reworked my race schedule to include ZooTown on August 29th. 3 DDs are going to do a team, with free entrance into the waterpark, WAHOO! I don't think I'll do an Oly this summer because I am going to do a 130-mile bike ride, then a half-mary in September.

Roni and Gary are training for their first HIM this year. They are from Kalispel, but reside in a motor home wherever work brings them in the Upper NorthWest US.

Going to run in the Governor's Cup 10K on Saturday.

Nope, I'm going to do my half-mary in Pinedale, WY. My mom lives near there, and I always visit her that time of year, so I thought I'd make an event of it. It looks like a fun race with a HUGE BBQ. It is sponsored by one of the big natural-gas companies.

Pinedale is nice country, a lot differant from running from Molt to Billings (prairie and sagebrush)

I didn't even know about the Headwaters Half, but I don't race on Sundays, so I'll have to pass. It sounds like a beautiful course. Hope you all have a great time there!
