Ocean Shores Olympic...

Hello all, new to this posting thing...bare with me.  I'm signed up for the Ocean Shores Olympic tri in July and hoping to hear from someone who has done that one before? The most recent post was from OC Tri in 06..... I hear they have cleaned up the bike course??  Temp of the lake?  Family friendly setting? ie playground, accessible trans area, (for "my cheerleaders" hubby and 2 kids) Not a newby, but still get butterflies especially when I don't know the area! Any input would be helpful.
