I absoutely love mine.  I hae worn it for two years with training five days a week.  I have worn it for miles of swimming without a problem.  Most robust watch I have ever owned.

Wow - I'm surprised at all the "problems" with the Timex watch in water.

I've had mine now for 4 years, and the freaking thing NEVER dies. I use it all the time to count laps by pushing the button in the water, and it's never leaked, ever. I also go in the surf in the ocean twice a week, and it withstands all the pounding, whereas I've killed 3 other lesser watches in the surf.

Mine cost about $39, I recall. Simple, but gets the job done. That's a high compliment from me!

been swimming in the pool with mine for two months with no problems. Lap function works great for training too. A good buy in my experience.
