Black Fly Tri Short Course

Black Fly is my first tri, but I have seen the Timberman course.  In my opinion the Black Fly course is going to be more fun.  It will be really fast on the way out and a long false flat with a good pitch and some slight rollers near the end for the bike.  The water was 52 degrees this morning.  I was the first person to swim it.  I think I made Keith, the promoter, happy since I did not jump out of the pond screaming.  I could not put my face in the water though because I could not breathe.  If it stays semi-nice it should warm up quick.  All the water running down from the mountains cooled it off quick this week with no sun.  The run looks to be almost pancake flat.  I am excited and nervous at the same time.

52 YIKES!!  I hope you had a wetsuit.  Thanks for the update on the bike course.
